Residential Design Specialist Opportunity

This is an exciting chance to work with a successful house construction company, providing exceptional service and knowledge to clients throughout the process of selecting colours and fittings for their new home.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with the selection of tiles, carpet, colours, and plumbing and electrical fittings for their dream home.
  • Provide colour, trends and design solutions to customers.
  • Read and interpret house and electrical plans to create inspirational designs.

You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative gallery environment with a positive company culture. To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A qualification in construction and/or experience working in a flooring or building products environment.
  • Minimum 1 year's experience dealing directly with architects, interior designers, builders and owner builders.
  • Ability to read floor plans.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to genuinely connect with customers.
  • High levels of organisational and time management skills enabling effective work to an appointment schedule.
