About the Role

This is a newly created position following the acquisition of a legal tech company that enhances data from Document Management Systems (DMS) for faster document drafting.

As an Implementation Consultant, you will engage with clients as their first point of contact. Your goal is to efficiently plan and coordinate projects. You will successfully implement assigned products for clients, including pre-sales activities, assessments, systems analysis, software integration, and post-installation implementation assessment.

You will primarily work with various DMS and document drafting software. Reporting to the Head of Finance & Operations, this is a permanent full-time role based in Sydney with flexible home/office arrangements for a healthy work-life balance.

  • Serve as a technical pre-sales advisor during the sales cycle.
  • Help clients plan implementation projects, including setting up engagements and planning sessions with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are initiated promptly, reflecting client expectations.
  • Create project reports to communicate status to key stakeholders and business functions.
  • Track performance to meet expectations and timelines, manage risks, and address issues.
  • Coordinate responses with the product organization and manage the review process.
Requirements
  • Possess a background in technology or law with experience in customer-facing roles, ideally in technical pre-sales support.
  • Experience in pre-sales activities, assessments, systems analysis, software integration, and post-installation implementation assessment.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI, Microsoft products, and DMS like iManage and NetDocuments.
  • Problem-solving skills to quickly mitigate challenges affecting project outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent time management to meet deadlines and conflicting schedules.
  • Superior communication and influencing skills with internal colleagues and external clients.
