We are in search of a meticulous and analytical Senior Analyst of Market Insights to contribute to our operations. This role is designed for a full-time or part-time commitment (minimum of 30 hours).

The successful candidate will provide strategic perspectives on the Australian pharmaceutical landscape, delivering insights and data-driven recommendations to enhance commercial decision-making.

This position demands exceptional analytical capabilities, expertise in data interpretation, and the ability to convert intricate data into practical business strategies.

Key Responsibilities


• Evaluate market trends, sales metrics, and competitive environments to produce actionable insights for commercial initiatives.

• Create and sustain dashboards, reports, and presentations to effectively communicate critical findings to senior leadership and cross-departmental teams.

• Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and other divisions to provide data-informed recommendations that align with business goals.

• Assist in the development of patient modeling and product forecasting.

• Work collaboratively with the Hospital + Pharmacy team and Finance on rebates and claims, focusing on return on investment analysis.

• Prepare analytical support for submissions to the Pricing Committee.

• Monitor and assess the impact of commercial strategies, offering suggestions for improvement.

• Aid in the formulation of market access strategies, pricing frameworks, and sales objectives.

• Remain informed about industry trends, market changes, and competitor actions to ensure timely and relevant insights.

• Manage data sources and tools, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of data.

Qualifications and Experience


• Bachelor's degree.

• At least 3 years of experience in commercial analysis, business intelligence, or a related field within the pharmaceutical sector.

• Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry, market dynamics, and commercial strategies in Australia, preferably with innovative products.

• Strong understanding of Salesforce Effectiveness, segmentation, and targeting.

• Proficient in data analysis tools and software (e.g., QlikSense, Veena preferred).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strong attention to detail.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex data in a clear and actionable manner.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
