The Clinical Psychology Registrar works collaboratively with young people and their families to identify support needs, goals, and develop collaborative care plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with young people and their families to identify support needs, goals, and develop collaborative care plans.
- Provide high-quality psychosocial assessments and evidence-based focused psychological interventions for 12–25 year olds referred to the service.
- Adhere to guidelines of the Medicare Better Access to Mental Health Care initiatives.
- Current AHPRA registration as a registered psychologist, with eligibility to work towards clinical endorsement as a registrar.
- Experience in assessment and diagnosis of mental health disorders.
- Experience providing evidence-based focused psychological strategies.
- Understanding of health and wellbeing needs of young people with mental health and/or substance use problems.
This part-time role is based in Shellharbour and offers flexible work arrangements for work-life balance. Continuous learning and development opportunities are also available.
