Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team on a locum basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a hospital setting, providing occupational therapy services to patients with varying needs.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing an inpatient acute caseload, working with a diverse range of patients including those with general medical, neuro, ortho and surgical conditions. They will also have the opportunity to work in a rehab ward, providing sub-acute ortho, neuro and geriatric rehabilitation services.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, offering the chance to develop your skills and experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with various physical and cognitive impairments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on optimal recovery techniques and strategies.
