About the Role:

The Strategic Planning Lead will play a key role in driving the success of our clients' campaigns by autonomously planning and implementing effective strategies. This individual will be responsible for delivering high-quality communication plans, managing digital campaigns from start to finish, and ensuring seamless execution across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and partner agencies to drive client objectives forward.
  • Research and identify innovative communications ideas, presenting them to internal teams to align with client goals.
  • Create comprehensive plans that support clients' business objectives, including timing, budget, and requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and economic factors affecting buys.
  • Monitor and optimize campaigns regularly to ensure maximum budget utilization and effectiveness.
  • Reconcile campaign delivery, ensuring final plans reflect billings accurately.
  • Train and delegate effectively, setting clear expectations and deliverables for team members.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in strategic planning or a related field.
  • Expert understanding of the Australian media landscape.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office platforms (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Proficiency in tools like eTAM, BMD, Roy Morgan, EMMA, eRAM, Nielsen Digital / Answers, Sizmek, DCM, MOVE, AQX Fusion BEHAVIOURS (advantageous).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and confident interpersonal skills.
  • Continuous learning mindset with a willingness to adapt and grow.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
