About the Role

  • We are seeking an experienced Strategic Inventory Planning Lead to join our Supply Planning team at Big W. ">

In this role, you will be responsible for managing our supply planning processes, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient inventory management and delivery of best-in-class availability to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • You will lead the development and implementation of strategic inventory plans, taking into account factors such as sales trends, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
  • You will work collaboratively with the Supply Planners to evaluate and review both long-term and short-term supply plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • You will implement supplier development and hypercare programs to support continuous improvement across the supply chain.
  • You will foster partnerships with external and internal stakeholders to promote trust within the end-to-end replenishment process and increase awareness of the value proposition of the Replenishment team.
  • You will coach and mentor team members to develop a high-performance culture and empower them to take ownership of their work. ">

  • You have a proven track record of leadership and experience in inventory planning, with a strong understanding of supply chain principles and practices.
  • You possess exceptional communication skills and can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive results.
  • You have a strong analytical mindset and can interpret complex data sets to identify opportunities and risks.
  • You have experience working with large data sets and have a good understanding of DC processes and Supplier Relationship Management. ">
