Senior Infrastructure Engineer Role


Job Overview

The role of a senior infrastructure engineer involves the design, delivery, and maintenance of corporate infrastructure. This includes working across cloud and on-prem environments as a senior technical leader within the Corporate Infrastructure team.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage corporate infrastructure stack, including hypervisors, virtual machines, and AWS environments.
  • Design, document, secure, monitor, and integrate infrastructure services across hybrid environments.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance, aligned with SLA and compliance expectations.
  • Lead infrastructure upgrades, lifecycle planning, and continuous improvement projects.

Requirements
  • 8+ years in infrastructure engineering or system administration roles.
  • Proven experience with:
    • AWS services and cloud infrastructure
    • Microsoft 365
    • Windows AD - Auth Configuration for Linux Flavors
    • EntraID - SSO via SAML/OIDC Configuration
    • Hypervisors and virtualisation platforms (e.g., KVM, VMware)
    • Core networking concepts including VLANs, segmentation, firewalls
    • Linux (preferred) and Windows server administration
  • Scripting and automation proficiency (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
  • Strong system design, troubleshooting, and incident management capabilities
  • Excellent written communication and technical documentation skills
