About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Development Assessment and Building Certification Division as a Development Assessment Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in leading the continuous improvement of planning functions of Council.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Development Assessment Team in the provision of high-quality development assessment services.
  • Monitor workflows, manage stakeholders, and input into Council's strategic goals.
  • Develop procedural improvements to work practices and procedures.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications relevant to the role, such as Bachelor of Planning.
  • General Construction Induction Training Card (White Card).
  • Current Class C Driver's Licence.
  • Highly developed skills in managing multiple projects and making effective decisions in tight timeframes.
  • Substantial experience in providing leadership, motivation in a team environment, adapting to, influencing and leading change in a working environment.
  • Highly developed communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills strongly focused on the provision of quality customer service.
