Job Overview

As a Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving value creation across the meat category. Your key responsibilities include managing relationships and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to combine strategic thinking and commercial knowledge.

  • You will be responsible for managing the supermarket channel to support the delivery of the retail annual and 3Y strategic plan.
  • You will continuously improve the existing product range and identify opportunities for profit and revenue growth.
  • You will lead and manage product development and innovation projects through cross-functional teams.
  • You will collaborate with sourcing and operations teams to provide insights into the value chain and recommend opportunities to improve overall returns.
  • You will project manage the scoping, feasibility, product development, and execution phases to drive end-to-end value creation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Food Science, Business, Commerce, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Retail Key Account Management (finance, commercial retail, manufacturing backgrounds ideal).
  • Experience in the red meat or other protein categories, with a strong understanding of the supply chain and manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with delivering project outcomes, task-switching, and prioritization of deliverables.
