About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Client Support Specialist to join our team at Youth Projects Ltd. As a Client Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality support services to individuals experiencing homelessness, AOD use, and/or poor mental health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Connect with existing and new service users to deliver high-impact support and create linkages with our clinical services
  • Assist in coordinating pathways out of homelessness and ensure clients are connected with the appropriate services to address their needs and barriers to health and housing outcomes
  • Work within a social model of health to form part of a multidisciplinary team approach to providing direct interventions and conducting referrals across a range of domains

Requirements

  • Certificated IV or Diploma qualifications in relevant AOD, community services and/or health related disciplines
  • Direct service working with clients experiencing multiple and complex needs
  • Knowledge and understanding of homelessness, housing and health sectors

Our team works with individuals to identify goals and focus on harm minimisation, self-determination, and empowerment.
