Ground Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Ground Support Specialist to join our mining team at a local operation.

  • Contribute to the overall safety and efficiency of operations by providing essential assistance to ground support technicians and engineers.
Responsibilities:
  1. Install cable bolts
  2. Install ground support mesh and accessories
  3. Mix grout to specification
  4. Shotcrete
  5. Implement testing where required/requested
  6. Operate equipment such as telehandlers, light vehicles, and service trucks
  7. Maintain all equipment used in day-to-day work
Requirements:
  • Elevated Work Platform Ticket
  • Working at Heights Ticket
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Ability to perform labouring duties
  • Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on teamwork
  • A positive attitude towards safety, training & environment
  • Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
  • Experience in the mining industry
  • Rigging or Dogman Tickets
