Job Title: Mining Labourer

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic mining environment, supporting ground support technicians and engineers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with duties as they arise, contributing to the overall safety and efficiency of operations.

  • Installation of cable bolts
  • Ground support mesh and accessories installation
  • Mixing grout to specification
  • Shotcreting
  • Implement testing where required/requested
  • Operation of equipment such as telehandler, light vehicle, and service trucks
  • Equipment maintenance
  • General open pit mine works
Key Requirements
  • Elevated Work Platform Ticket
  • Working at Heights Ticket
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Ability to perform labouring duties
  • Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on teamwork
  • A positive attitude towards safety, training, and environment
  • Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance

Experience in the mining industry is highly regarded, along with Rigging or Dogman Tickets.
