Geotechnical Labourer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled labourer to join our mining geotechnical team. This is an ongoing project with both full-time and casual positions available.

The successful applicant will have experience in the mining industry and possess relevant tickets such as Elevated Work Platform and Working at Heights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of cable bolts
  • Installation of ground support mesh and accessories
  • Mixing grout to specification
  • Shotcreting
  • Implement testing where required/requested
  • Operate equipment such as telehandler, light vehicle and service trucks
  • Maintain all equipment used in day-to-day work
  • General open pit mine works

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in the mining industry
  • Elevated Work Platform ticket
  • Working at Heights ticket
  • Ability to operate equipment such as telehandlers, light vehicles and service trucks
