Clinical Nurse Specialist

The Tasmania Government is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Continuing Care Team in an Extended Hours role. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with other staff to deliver improved outcomes for clients of the Continuing Care Stream and their families/carers.
Key Responsibilities- Work within the designated region to deliver a seven (7) day week, extended hours service, including assertive case management/care coordination to a designated number of clients.
- Participate in a duty officer roster as required and provide after-hours triage and crisis support for both the designated Continuing Care Team and the broader Continuing Care Stream.
- Act as a clinical expert and resource for staff and other providers specific to the management of individuals with serious and enduring mental health illness.
- Registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse and possess specialist tertiary graduate or Postgraduate mental health/psychiatric nursing qualifications.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Desirable criteria: Extensive relevant psychiatric nursing experience and/or credentialed as a Mental Health Nurse by the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses or equivalent.
- A competitive salary range of $103,466 - $109,165 per annum.
