Human Relations Consultant Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Human Relations Consultant to join our organization in Keswick. This is a six-month tenure role that offers the opportunity to drive business objectives and shape the organization's culture.

As a Human Relations Consultant, you will serve as a trusted advisor to the management team and employees, providing expert guidance on HR challenges and developing effective solutions.

  • Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation
  • At least 2 years of HR Generalist experience
  • Well-versed in HR policies and procedures, employment laws, and labor regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative and effective solutions
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Main Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with leaders and employees to provide HR guidance, coaching, and consultation on various HR issues, including performance management, employee relations, and compensation and benefits
  • Developing and implementing HR policies, programs, and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations
  • Collaborating with the HR team to develop and deliver training programs that support employee development and performance improvement
  • Managing employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations
