Our vision is to empower women and non-binary individuals by providing holistic legal services that address the complexities of their lives. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lawyer to join our team, who will be responsible for delivering high-quality legal advice and casework in areas such as family law, migration, and civil law.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing legal advice and casework to clients across various practice areas
  • Developing and maintaining technical competence in NLAP MH streams core practice areas
  • Mentoring and supervising junior lawyers in specified legal matters
  • Representing the organization in public forums and engaging with stakeholders
  • Undertaking community legal education and law reform projects
Requirements:
  • Admitted to practice/eligible to apply for an unrestricted practicing certificate in the Northern Territory
  • Minimum 5 years' post-admission experience in Migration, Family, and/or Civil Law
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a trauma-informed framework
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
