Community Engagement Specialist

The Community Engagement Officer plays a pivotal role in fostering meaningful connections with the community. This involves collaborating with a dedicated team to design and implement engagement strategies that drive positive outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing multi-channel engagement plans to effectively manage reputational risks and emerging issues.
- Designing and delivering place-based events and activations that showcase community spirit.
- Identifying, defining, and analyzing key stakeholder groups and communication channels to standardize and deliver impactful communication.
- Maintaining a deep understanding of community demographics to inform data-driven engagement strategies.
To excel in this role, you will possess:
- A relevant professional qualification and/or substantial equivalent experience in community engagement, communications, market research, and/or marketing.
- The ability to remain resilient, agile, and composed under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship development and management skills.
- A current Class 'C' driver's licence.
This is a permanent full-time role that offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
