Strategic Policy Advisor

This role is a key part of our Department's senior leadership team, responsible for providing high-level advice and policy expertise to the Minister and Director General on system-wide issues.
The ideal candidate will be innovative and forward-thinking, using evidence-based analysis to inform and strengthen policy decisions. Strong communication and policy writing skills are essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive, high-level advice and policy expertise to senior decision-makers.
- Lead and manage a team to achieve strategic priorities and ministerial directions.
- Develop and implement policies to improve student and department outcomes.
- Highly developed communication and policy writing skills.
- Ability to think critically and strategically.
- Experience in leading teams and managing projects.
