Job Description

We are seeking a Strategic Risk Advisor to join our team, providing expert advice on risk management and assurance. As a key member of the Directorate, you will play a critical role in supporting organisational accountability across the department.

About the Role
  • Strategic Risk Advisor – Assurance (Level 5): You will contribute to the development and implementation of the department’s risk management frameworks, including enterprise risk reporting, business impact analyses, and maintaining risk systems and documentation.
  • Risk Governance Specialist (Level 5): You will provide guidance on policy governance framework, delegation instruments, and CEO Instructions, ensuring alignment with legislative requirements and strategic objectives.
  • Audit and Assurance Expert (Level 5): You will support the delivery of the department’s internal audit and assurance program, preparing papers and minutes for the Audit and Risk Committee, assisting with internal audit contractors, and contributing to audit frameworks, policies, and reporting.
