Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the integrity of claims processes, adhering to relevant legislation and insurance policies.
- Review declined claims and contribute to review meetings to ensure fair outcomes for clients.
- Collaborate with partners and teams to deliver timely, accurate, and compliant insurance administration.
- Identify trends, risks or issues and take proactive measures to address them.
- Optimize workflow and prioritize tasks to finalize claims efficiently.
- Ensure up-to-date claims documentation, templates, and registers are maintained.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and client experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrate proven experience in a similar role, preferably in insurance or claim management.
- Display strong knowledge of insurance settlement processes, superannuation law, and RG146 compliance.
- Show sharp analytical skills, able to interpret data, identify trends/areas of concern, and make well-informed decisions.
- Demonstrate high level of compassion and excellent communication skills, explaining complex decisions clearly and caringly.
- Show ability to build trust and rapport with clients during challenging times.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, remaining calm under pressure and juggling tasks without compromising quality.
- Show experience with Microsoft Office (intermediate to advanced).
- Hold qualifications in law, business, or a related discipline (highly regarded).
