Business Development Director

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to spearhead our ecosystem growth and strategic partnerships for a major initiative. This role is pivotal in a small, high-performing team building a new onchain ecosystem within the crypto space.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, strategic partnerships, and ecosystem roles. They will drive strategy, source and execute critical deals, and shape product direction in close collaboration with senior leadership.

Main responsibilities include leading strategic partnerships across DeFi and core onchain use cases, serving as a thought partner to Product, navigating high-stakes conversations with protocol leaders, founders, and C-level stakeholders, and overseeing end-to-end workstreams and internal stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you will need 12+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or ecosystem roles, with at least 3 years in a crypto-native environment. You will also need a proven track record of structuring and executing high-impact deals in DeFi or related verticals, as well as a deep understanding of onchain economies, builder incentives, and protocol mechanics.
