Job Opportunity

Newly created Textiles role offers a creative position with flexibility in hybrid working arrangements.

We are seeking an innovative, thoughtful, and technically gifted Design Innovator to work closely with Senior Designers in bringing beautiful ranges to life, while honouring the brand DNA.

This role is responsible for driving original and unique textile and print development in line with the brand's DNA. Key responsibilities include:

  • Researching ideas, sourcing reference material, and creating new print artwork in line with the Creative Director's seasonal concept brief.
  • Setting up artwork repeats and colour separations for the Design Manager as required.
  • Developing embroidery artwork and templates for embroidered garments.
  • Presenting alternate print colourways to the Design Manager.
  • Completing placement print, embroidery, and templates for samples and production.
  • Considering the most economical method to set up artworks per style, such as placement, nested, or borders.
  • Providing strike-off comments via a visual aid on artwork generated for feedback to printers and embroiderers.

This role requires a tertiary qualification in Textile design, 3 years' experience as a textile designer in a similar position, and the ability to demonstrate outstanding creative instincts and a distinct point of view through colour, texture, and patterns.

The ideal candidate will have strong design and communicative skills, advanced Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign skills, immaculate attention to detail, and be up to date on design trends, industry developments, and new textile processes.
