Integration Specialist Role

The role involves designing and developing end-to-end integration solutions using the SAP Business Technology Platform Integration Suite.

  • Design and develop integration solutions using the SAP BTP Integration Suite, formerly known as CPI/Cloud Integration.
  • Implement various integration patterns such as synchronous, asynchronous, message queuing, publish-subscribe.
  • Utilize adapters such as OData, SOAP, REST, SFTP, JDBC, IDoc, and others as required.
  • Develop custom Groovy scripts for complex data mappings, transformations, validations, error handling, and business logic within integration flows.
  • Work with various message formats including XML, JSON, CSV, and flat files.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite, including design, development, deployment, and monitoring of integration iFlows.
  • Strong proficiency in Groovy Scripting for developing custom logic, data manipulation, and enhancing integration scenarios within SAP BTP Integration Suite.
  • Solid understanding of various integration patterns and protocols, such as REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP, AMQP, JMS.
  • Experience with API management principles and tools.
  • Familiarity with SAP ECC/S/4HANA integration points and data models, including IDocs, BAPIs.
  • Proficiency in working with different data formats, such as XML, JSON, CSV, Flat Files.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience in Application Support and Maintenance projects with understanding of ITSM processes, including Incident and Change Management.
