Job Title:

SAP BTP Integration Expert and Groovy Script Professional

We are seeking a skilled SAP BTP Integration Specialist with expertise in Groovy scripting to join our team.

Job Description:

This role involves designing, developing, implementing, supporting and maintaining robust integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP systems using the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Integration Suite.

  • Design & Develop Integration Solutions:
    • End-to-end integration solutions using SAP BTP Integration Suite
    • Implementation of various integration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, message queuing, publish-subscribe)
    • Utilization of adapters (OData, SOAP, REST, SFTP, JDBC, IDoc)
    • Custom Groovy scripts for complex data mappings, transformations, validations, error handling, and business logic within integration flows
    • Working with different data formats (XML, JSON, CSV, Flat Files)
  • Tech Leadership & Best Practices:
    • Promoting best practices for integration development, security, performance, and monitoring
    • Contributing to continuous improvement of integration methodologies and standards
    • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members
  • Troubleshooting & Support:
    • Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving integration-related issues
    • Performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent solutions to recurring problems
    • Providing ongoing support and maintenance for existing integration landscapes
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborating with functional consultants, business analysts, and external system owners
    • Translating business requirements into technical integration designs
    • Participating in testing activities (unit testing, integration testing, UAT)
  • Security & Compliance:
    • Ensuring all integration solutions adhere to security best practices and company compliance policies
    • Implementing robust error handling, logging, and monitoring mechanisms
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite (design, development, deployment, and monitoring)
  • Strong proficiency in Groovy Scripting for custom logic and data manipulation
  • Solid understanding of integration patterns and protocols (REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP, AMQP, JMS)
  • Experience with API management principles and tools
  • Familiarity with SAP ECC/S/4HANA integration points and data models
  • Proficiency in working with different data formats (XML, JSON, CSV, Flat Files)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
