About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team and support Australian SMEs in thriving. The ideal candidate will be a true business partner to our clients, providing expert accounting services and ensuring smooth sailing of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support a portfolio of Australian SMEs, being their point of contact for everything accounting-related;
- Be the point of contact for anything accounting-related for your clients;
- Control the work quality delivered by the bookkeeping team;
- Communicate regularly with clients to ensure that all of their questions are addressed and that we have all the data we need to deliver our work;
- Coordinate quarterly BAS submissions and other ad-hoc accounting-related duties;
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of Australian Accounting experience, communicating directly with clients;
- Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent and either CA, CPA, or CIMA qualified, or be actively working towards these certifications;
- EXPERT level in Excel, Xero, Dext, A2X…;
- HIGHLY attentive to detail;
