Job Title

A Desktop Support Supervisor plays a vital role in the IT Team.

  • Resolves technical issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintains desktop performance and reliability.
  • Led and motivate a team of specialist staff.
About the Role

This newly created position will be based at Site, in Greenbushes. Occasional travel to Perth is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide rapid resolution service to users with escalated desktop technical issues.
  2. Ensure faults are either rectified within a specified timeframe or escalated.
  3. Manage resources of the Desktop Support group.
  4. Manage recruitment of new employees and professional development of existing employees.
Qualifications and Skills:

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Well-developed management skills in planning and scheduling.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of specialist staff.
  • Experienced in all aspects of IT Support.
  • Knowledgeable of Talison's IT infrastructure, operating systems and software.
  • Experience in process improvement methodologies.
  • Exceptional customer service focus.
