
Product Inventory Manager

We are a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of ophthalmic lenses, frames and sunglasses. Our vertically integrated business addresses the world's evolving vision needs by crafting exclusive eyewear brands like Ray-Ban, Oakley, Oliver Peoples, Persol, Costa alongside licensed brands such as Tiffany & Co, Burberry, and CHANEL.
The Inventory Planner role oversees inventory planning, product performance, and lifecycle management across our eyewear categories and retail brands. This ensures the right optical frames, sunglasses, lenses, and accessories are available at the right time and in the right locations.
You will work with global teams to create strategies for optimal service levels, drive inventory efficiency and reduce obsolescence. You will also work cross-functionally with Operations, Visual Merchandising and Product departments to drive best-in-class execution.
- Analyzing sales, trends, and customer demand to forecast product performance.
- Developing seasonal and annual merchandise plans by category, brand, and location.
- Working on the full product lifecycle — from initial launch to replenishment, markdown, and end-of-life decisions.
- Monitoring inventory levels and making recommendations on reorders, promotions, and clearance strategies.
- Partnering with marketing and visual teams to support launches and in-store campaigns.
- Managing open-to-buy budgets, ensuring alignment with sales and margin targets.
- Conducting regular performance reviews of core, seasonal, and exclusive collections.
- Ensuring optimal stock availability across stores and channels (retail and e-commerce).
- Providing actionable insights based on data analysis and market trends.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 3+ years of retail merchandise planning experience.
- A strong understanding of product lifecycle management and retail sales strategies.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with planning tools is a plus.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organized approach.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams.
- Commercial awareness and a passion for retail trends.
- The ability to balance working autonomously and collaborating with a team.
