Dowell Windows has an excellent opportunity for an Inventory Controller to join our team at our Bayswater branch. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining appropriate stock and inventory levels of all production materials to meet production requirements.

Your key responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:

- Daily monitoring of inventory levels and replenishing stocks when required on production materials such as glass, extrusion, hardware and rubber components
- Performing regular stock checks on glass and end cap imports and reporting any issues to the manager
- Maintaining and updating records of purchase orders, pricing reports and inventory records
- Liaising with Purchasing Officer, suppliers, operations team members, sales and estimating team to maintain stock levels to meet production needs
- Monitoring operational performance indicators and initiating action plans as a result to improve the service
- Ensuring lean processes and tools are implemented in the inventory space
- Work with the Finance team to manage bi-annual stock takes
- Similar experience in an inventory role
- Strong planning, time management and organisational skills
- Demonstrates ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Be reliable and have a can-do attitude
- Be able to juggle tasks and prioritize
- Willing to jump in and assist other team members

We have a great team environment where there is a hands-on approach to all that needs to be done. There will be full training and ongoing support provided by the team.

**Salary**: $51,301.68 - $84,117.60 per year
