About this role:

Event Logistics

We are seeking a skilled Event Logistics professional to join our team. As an Event Logistics team member, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of events across our property.

  • Interpreting and understanding event orders and banquet set up instructions is crucial for success in this position.
  • You will be responsible for physically moving and strategically placing event furniture and equipment, maintaining guest focus in all services.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders as required will also be part of your daily tasks.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in event logistics and work collaboratively with a large and diverse team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Event Set Up and Tear Down: Ensure timely and efficient setup and tear down of events, including tables, bars, drink stations, buffets, stages, floor coverings, walls, curtains, partitions and retractable seating.
  • Furniture and Equipment Movement: Physically move and strategically place event furniture and equipment to meet the needs of each event.
  • Guest Focus: Maintain guest focus in all services, ensuring delivery is timely, effective and efficient.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as required to ensure seamless communication and execution.

About you:

We are looking for someone with proven experience in events, logistics and/or hospitality who has excellent problem-solving skills and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
