Senior Legal Counsel

We are seeking a talented Senior Legal Counsel to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology law and excellent negotiation skills.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-value technology transactions and drive the implementation of our client's AI strategy. You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide variety of contracts, including software and technology licensing.

  • Drafting and negotiating technology contracts
  • Supporting AI-focused initiatives and emerging technology projects
  • Providing quality client service to internal clients with diverse portfolios of local and global projects

You will also contribute to strategic projects, including innovative regulatory and compliance initiatives.

Requirements

  • Admitted to practice in Australia, New Zealand or the United Kingdom
  • 5-10 years of post-admission experience with technology experience gained from time spent at a reputable law firm
  • Experience working on data privacy, cyber security matters, and/or using generative AI would be highly favored
  • Prior experience working in financial services would be advantageous
