Key Accountabilities will include:

  • Local Industry Engagement & Partnership Development - source and secure local placement opportunities; collaborate with lecturers/trainers to ensure compliance of partnerships with industry requirements; negotiate agreements with partners; collaborate with the IEM to execute engagement plans and regional strategy
  • Student-centric approach - proactively manage resolution of agent relationships matters; escalate student-related matters to Senior Lecturer; collect, analyze and utilize feedback from agencies to enhance processes for students; maintain industry relationships to assess quality and effectiveness of student education
  • Compliance - collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that all policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant; ensure all placement vacancies are vetted by the Senior Lecturer

About you

  • Proven successful experience in business development and/or stakeholder engagement
  • Demonstrated experience in building industry partnerships
  • Ability to work independently and balance multiple demands
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends to meet deadlines
  • In-depth understanding of community services or related sectors and placement processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in utilizing relevant technology and reporting tools
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
