Lead Clinician for Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Paediatrics

This is an exceptional opportunity to assume a leadership role in the departments of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Paediatrics. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, guiding, and directing these teams to achieve excellence in patient care.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise and have Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) or Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Paediatrics and Child Health or equivalent.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Direction: Provide strategic direction and vision to the departments, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Clinical Expertise: Offer expert advice and guidance on clinical matters, ensuring high standards of patient care are maintained.
  • Resource Utilisation: Ensure efficient use of resources, effective service integration, and optimal service delivery.
