About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Architect to join our team at auspayplus. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in transforming us into a leading-edge digital payments firm for Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business requirements into viable technical solutions with appropriate security controls for the enhancement of our payment solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and understand business security needs, and translate these needs into architecture and design security requirements.
  • Ensure architectural security and consistency across the entire product landscape.
  • Provide technical security guidance and leadership to development teams in the implementation of the designed solutions.
  • Perform regular reviews of system security architecture and design, offering recommendations for improvements or enhancements.
  • Understand, advocate, and support IT strategies, and analyze its impact on the business objectives.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding the company's business plan and its technology standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a Security architecture role, ideally in the payment industry.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing complex systems architectures.
  • Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of architectural principles, models, patterns, and perspective on IT architecture and the financial industry.
  • Knowledge of the full technology stack including front-end, back-end, database, network, and DevOps.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards in the payments industry in Australia.
