We are seeking a skilled professional to manage and grow a high-quality commercial lending portfolio.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial lending relationships with strong engagement, retention, and proactive credit reviews
- Structure and write new commercial lending opportunities to support business growth
- Develop compelling credit submissions that meet the underwriting and return standards
- Maintain primary relationship contact with clients throughout the lending lifecycle
- Drive operational excellence in loan processing and settlement
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify emerging opportunities
- Ensure compliance and credit quality through proactive risk management
- 5-10 years' experience in commercial lending, business banking, or portfolio management
- Demonstrated ability to assess and structure commercial credit deals
- Strong relationship skills with both lenders and clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including credit submission experience
- A commercial mindset with a balanced approach to risk and opportunity
- Familiarity with non-bank lending practices and market dynamics
- Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, or related field preferred
- Prior people leadership experience will be highly regarded
