Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and be able to lead a team to achieve great results.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Customer Service: Foster strong relationships with customers and promote repeat business through excellent service.
    • Team Leadership: Lead by example, provide guidance and motivate employees to deliver high-quality service.
    • Sales and Revenue: Maximize sales opportunities by upselling items and promoting menu offerings.
    • Kitchen Liaison: Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of meals and manage special requests.
    • Service Areas: Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, including tables and floors.
    • Hygiene and Safety: Ensure strict adherence to food handling and presentation standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
    • Employee Management: Oversee daily operations, monitor employee productivity, and optimize process efficiency.
    • Communication: Clearly communicate job expectations, responsibilities, and performance targets to employees.

Required Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Responsible Service of Alcohol (NSW)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a managerial role in the hospitality industry
  • Flexible availability to work days, nights, and weekends
  • Reliable transportation
