Job Overview

The Australian regulator is seeking a Business Delivery Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing the business and acting as an escalation point for business teams, driving the uplift and modernisation of ASIC's registers, user channels, and interfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Product Management Team to establish a product backlog, capturing and documenting business and functional requirements for platform applications.
  • Partner with the Delivery Team to refine requirements and develop solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Engage with Product Managers, Subject Matter Experts, and Product Leads to build a comprehensive understanding of ASIC's business processes and operational requirements.
  • Work closely with Delivery Teams to define acceptance criteria for solutions developed on the One ASIC Platform.
  • Support Product Managers in coordinating business testing, including preparation, execution, and assisting business representatives during testing.
About You

The ideal candidate is a strategic, delivery-focused professional with a background in either product ownership or business analysis, supported by strong stakeholder engagement skills. They should have extensive experience in documenting and analysing business requirements and translating complex needs into actionable solutions, with a track record in managing product backlogs and defining acceptance criteria. Ability to collaborate effectively with delivery teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives is essential.

Qualifications and Attributes
  • Relevant bachelor's degree and/or proven experience in gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements.
  • Ability to interpret complex business needs, resolve issues, and document effective solutions.
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Experience engaging with business stakeholders to elicit requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a Business Analyst or Product Owner role is advantageous.
