As Victoria's largest public health service, we provide safe, high-quality healthcare and services for people at every life stage. We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team in a full-time, fixed-term role until November 2026. Part-time applicants may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Critical Care Physiotherapy Services: Deliver high-quality physiotherapy services to infants and children admitted to paediatric intensive care and acute wards within our hospital
  • Paediatric Critical Care Clinical Knowledge: Provide specialist paediatric critical care clinical knowledge in the field of paediatric physiotherapy
  • Team Leadership: Lead the clinical service delivery of the acute inpatient physiotherapy team with support from the physiotherapy profession leads
  • Service Coordination: Coordinate the after-hours and weekend services, and lead the education to both physiotherapy and multidisciplinary colleagues in the physiotherapy management of paediatric critical care patients

What You Need:

  • A relevant Physiotherapy qualification
  • Current unconditional registration with AHPRA
  • Significant physiotherapy clinical experience
  • Experience in the management of paediatric critical care and respiratory patients
  • Leadership and/or service development experience
  • Experience in teaching, and education
  • A current Victorian Driver's licence (or equivalent)
