We provide these services through inpatient, ambulatory, and community-based programs, ensuring patients have access to the best healthcare within the most efficient time frame.

Role Description

We are looking for Paediatric Emergency Physicians to fill permanent FTE at The Northern Hospital. The Paediatric Emergency Physician will be responsible for delivering high-quality emergency care to paediatric patients within the emergency department.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Paediatrics
  • Skills in Emergency Services, Urgent Care, and Critical Care Medicine
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in a high-paced environment and ability to manage stressful situations
  • Fellowship with the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) with a preference for candidates who have completed PEM
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
