Compliance professionals are essential for maintaining the integrity of an organization. This role is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of AML-CFT-PF and FATCA-CRS compliance functions are executed effectively.

Job Description
  • Assists in the execution of AML-CFT-PF and FATCA-CRS functions, including reviewing applications for new and existing customers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conducts enhanced due diligence on high-risk individuals and companies, identifying potential risks and submitting findings for review and approval.
  • Performs risk-based assessments of customers, re-rating and progress reporting as necessary.
  • Monitors transactions, reviewing Declaration of Source of Funds forms, AML Casual Payments and Withdrawal Reports, AML Source of Funds Control Reports, and other relevant reports.
  • Provides training to staff and agents on AML-CFT-PF and FATCA-CRS regulations and procedures.
  • Guides employees on regulatory updates relevant to the company's operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintains relevant registers for AML-CFT-PF and FATCA-CRS compliance.
  • Prepares internal reports on suspicious or unusual transactions.
  • Supports fostering a compliance culture and updating policies and procedures.
  • Assists with Automatic Exchange of Information Tax Compliance functions and annual FATCA-CRS reviews.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in management, business, finance, law, accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a compliance/internal audit environment.
  • Completion of CAMS or equivalent designation is desirable.
  • Good knowledge of local and industry-related AML requirements.
