
Senior Furniture Service Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service delivery team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by diagnosing and resolving service issues while upholding our quality standards.
This is a hands-on, mobile role responsible for delivering exceptional in-home service to customers across various locations. You'll be on the road daily, visiting customers in their homes as well as our sites to assess, repair, and enhance the performance of our premium products.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed on-site inspections to diagnose product concerns and carry out repairs to the highest possible standard.
- Accurately document findings and customer feedback, reporting through appropriate channels.
- Ensure all work meets our strict quality benchmarks and is free from defects.
- Take end-to-end ownership of each service visit, from issue identification to repair completion and customer follow-up.
- Confirm service completion with all required checks and validation steps.
- Maintain a strong customer focus, ensuring satisfaction and contributing to a high rate of 5-star product reviews.
- Aim to maximise first-call resolution and minimise repeat visits.
- Provide clear and professional product education to customers, helping them care for and prolong the life of their furniture.
- Actively promote our services and uphold the values and reputation of our brand.
- Support fellow technicians with complex or escalated customer issues as required.
- Identify trends or recurring issues and relay product feedback to our teams to support quality improvements.
- Maintain punctuality, reliability, and professionalism in all customer interactions.
- Previous experience as a Field Service Technician, with a strong technical skillset.
- Proficiency in using power and hand tools to conduct repairs and maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of electrical circuits to support troubleshooting and service tasks.
- Enthusiastic and committed, with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
- Experience in repairing fabric and leather sofas is welcomed but not required.
- Knowledge of the furniture industry is advantageous but not essential.
