Credit Officer Role SummaryIn this challenging role, you will play a pivotal part in collecting outstanding fees and negotiating payment plans with clients. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across all levels to ensure timely collection of debts.
  • Maintain accurate records of collection activities and all communications.
  • Meet with partners to address outstanding accounts and make recommendations as needed.
  • Escalate accounts as appropriate, including recommending credit provisions or final demands.
  • Work with partners to ensure credit practices align with firm standards and policies.
  • Assist with processing adjustments and reallocations.
  • Resolve client fee queries within agreed timeframes.
  • Manage the Accounts Receivable mailbox, delivering prompt and courteous responses to clients.
The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a professional telephone manner. They will also have ability to build rapport and influence decision-making, confidence in working with senior stakeholders, and a proactive approach to their work.

A key aspect of this role is maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, using their analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues.
