Debt Recovery Specialist

The role of Debt Recovery Specialist is a challenging and dynamic position that requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Liaise with customers on a daily basis to resolve account queries and manage debtor relationships.
- Manage a large debtor's ledger, ensuring accurate records and timely payments.
- Collaborate with the debt recovery team to develop strategies for collecting outstanding accounts and reducing bad debt.
- Review and analyze customer accounts to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement plans to recover outstanding debts, including negotiations with customers and third-party collection agencies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and debtors' ledgers.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in debt recovery or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Word.
