Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Support Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will provide support with challenging behaviors and help people with disabilities become more independent in their own homes and the community.

About the Role
  • Active support: Develop personal interests, provide personal care, transportation, and coach independent living skills.
  • Health support: Administer and document medication and follow health support plans.
  • Positive behavior support: Manage behaviour triggers and escalation.
  • Safeguarding: Ensure safety of you and the participant, documentation, and reports.
About You
  • Demonstrated motivation to work with people with disability.
  • Experience working as a support professional in a challenging environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of behavior support plans.
  • Manage and escalate challenging behaviors.
  • Flexible with sleepover shifts.
Requirements
  • C3 in Disability, Individual Support or equivalent is preferred.
  • Available to fulfill a rotating roster including weekends and overnights.
  • NDIS Worker Check.
  • National Police Check.
  • Full Unrestricted NT Driver's license.
  • First aid and CPR certificate.
