Job Title: Therapeutic Support Specialist

Job Description:

As a Therapeutic Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality therapeutic services to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to work with individuals and groups to assess, plan, and implement interventions that promote independence, health, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical functioning.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that address specific needs and goals.
  • Deliver therapeutic services in a person-centered manner, prioritizing the unique needs and preferences of each client.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery and coordination.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) or a related field.
  • Current registration as an OT with the relevant professional body.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience working with adults, children, or adolescents in community, rehabilitation, or paediatrics settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • A genuine passion for making a positive impact on people's lives.
