Job Overview

The role of Site Services Coordinator is to oversee site travel, village operations and warehouse/logistics services, manage third-party contracts and provide support to the site administration team.

The successful candidate will have a broad scope of responsibilities including:

  • Liaising with site administrators and managing travel logistics for all site personnel.
  • Maintaining relationships and service agreements with travel providers and charter flight contractors.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with regulatory bodies and private landowners.
  • Ensuring compliance with CASA regulations, cost efficiency and service levels.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Managing the performance of the village service provider.
  • Overseeing and reviewing contracts for accommodation and village management services.
  • Developing processes and systems to coordinate and manage room allocations, occupancy planning and site entry logistics.
  • Leading a small site warehousing team and ensuring efficient stock movement.
  • Managing freight and logistics services.
  • Ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of stock and site logistics movements.

Key requirements for this position include:

  • Significant experience in a similar role in the mining industry.
  • Proven ability to manage small teams and negotiate third-party contracts.
  • Experience in coordinating travel, accommodation, logistics and warehousing.
  • Ability to manage service providers and contracts and resolve operational challenges.
  • Excellent organisational capability and prioritisation skills.
  • High-level proficiency with MS Office suite and warehouse/travel management systems.
