We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Storeperson to join our logistics team in Acacia Ridge. As a key member, you will be responsible for secure picking and destruction work within a fast-paced environment.
This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain high standards of warehouse organization and security. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a warehouse setting, preferably in destruction or secure handling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare materials for secure destruction with efficiency and accuracy.
- Pick, move, and stack boxes / files safely (10–20kg) while maintaining a safe working environment.
- Operate RF scanners and manual pallet jacks with proficiency.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience, preferably in destruction or secure handling, is essential.
- You must be physically fit and capable of manual handling, with the ability to lift up to 20kg.
- A national police check will be required prior to commencement.
- Basic PPE includes steel-capped boots and hi-vis, which must be worn at all times.
- A strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures is critical for success in this role.
Working Conditions:
The warehouse is a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and noise levels. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
