Cloud Security Specialist

We're seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Specialist to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who is passionate about cloud security and wants to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exercise incident handling and remediation processes across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms in the cloud environment.
  • Perform malware analysis across various customer environments with emerging threats.
  • Develop and improve cloud security processes for incident detection and countermeasure execution.
  • Produce high-quality written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings for customers.
  • Develop and implement security content and automations across multiple CrowdStrike modules including EDR/SIEM in the cloud.
  • Demonstrate industry thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and public speaking events.
  • Provide continuous feedback and solutions for operational collateral and capabilities in the cloud environment.
Requirements:
  • Experience in SOC, Malware Analysis or IR environment, preferably in cloud security.
  • Incident Handling: experience conducting or managing incident response for organizations in the cloud environment.
  • Computer Forensic Analysis: a background using forensic analysis tools in incident response investigations to determine the extent and scope of compromise in the cloud.
  • Systems Administration: an understanding of system internals to implement and execute countermeasures and remediation in the cloud.
  • Network Forensic Analysis: knowledge of network protocols, network analysis tools, and ability to perform analysis of associated network logs in the cloud environment.
  • Malware Analysis: ability to perform static and dynamic malware analysis to understand the nature of malware in the cloud.
  • Incident Remediation: strong understanding of targeted attacks and able to create customized tactical and strategic remediation plans for compromised organizations in the cloud.
  • Programming/Scripting: experience coding in Python, PowerShell, or .NET, or the desire to learn, with experience coding in other languages such as C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby on Rails, etc in the cloud.
