As a Ballarat Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to share your passion for the city with visitors from all over the world.
Job Description:
The Ballarat Ambassador program is designed to provide information and assistance to visitors to the city. You will be working in a busy tourist information centre, meeting and greeting visitors, and providing them with information about the city's attractions and activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet and greet customers, visitors and community members to the Ballarat Information Centre.
- Provide information about the city's attractions and activities to visitors.
- Assist with the delivery of events and programs at the Ballarat Information Centre.
Requirements:
- Passionate and knowledgeable about Ballarat.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Available for at least one four-hour shift each week for a minimum of one year.
- Team player who loves engaging with people.
- Flexible and willing to assist with additional shifts when needed.
- Keen to participate in ongoing learning and training.
- Able to demonstrate a commitment to our values.
- Work indoors and outdoors.
- Day time, night time and weekend opportunities available.
- Confident speaking to groups of people.
