Regional Cost Planning Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Cost Planning Manager to lead our team in delivering cost planning services. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of cost planning procedures, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.

This role requires strong leadership skills, ability to mentor and develop team members, and excellent communication skills to negotiate and build relationships with clients, partners, external consultants, and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in a related technical discipline, combined with appropriate subject matter knowledge and demonstrable experience with developed people manager skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cost planning procedures and processes.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.

  • Lead and mentor a team of cost planners to achieve high-quality results.

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, external consultants, and subcontractors.

  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and deliver accurate, timely, and strategic cost advice throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related technical discipline.

  • Appropriate subject matter knowledge.

  • Demonstrated experience with developed people manager skills.

  • Strong leadership skills.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to negotiate and build relationships with clients, partners, external consultants, and subcontractors.

  • Sound understanding of quantity surveying, estimating, and cost planning principles and techniques.
